If I could give more stars I would. It was the best food I've tasted in a while. We went there at about 10:45 and asked if they were only doing breakfast and our waiter Brock said they dont normally do lunch for another hour but he would go see if they were willing and he walked back with the lunch menus and said the fryers take about 10 minutes to heat up so if we dont mind waiting they would absolutely make it for us and the food came out 10 minutes later on the dot and I kid you not it was absolutely the best tasting meal I've had in an extremely long time it was so full of flavor with the perfect balance I got the french dip with cheese and my boyfriend got the buffalo burger with cheese and they were both amazing and the frys are fresh homemade and tasted great and NOT greasy it was beyond amazing we gave a $40 tip for them to all split when we dont normally tip more than $5 it was that amazing

We come here each time a come to Yellowstone Park. They always have great food and service.

Good food, just tell them how you want your burger cooked when ordering. Tasty food that won't break the bank.

We had a great dinner tonight after a long day at Yellowstone. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, and seated shortly after. I believe they have a limited menu at the moment, but we didn’t miss a larger menu! Our waiter was super attentive, the food was hot and delicious. Truly felt like everything was home made. On a side note, for those concerned about COVID - I was delighted to see that they had a box for “dirty menus”, all the staff wore masks, they had hand sanitizer inside and outside, they had one young man clearing tables, only at the end of the meals, and he was doing an awesome job cleaning the tables. It felt like they were doing everything they could while still maintaining great service.

Had a great dinner here at this quaint awesome little cafe, the food was good nothing for me to get overwhelmingly ecstatic over but I would definitely eat here again. I wish I remembered our servers name because she had some of the best hospitality I have seen in a long time! Great little place to stop and eat

Courtney was an efficient and friendly server. The busser/greeter was lightning fast and wiped every surface 3 times. Excellent buffalo dinner.

The food is pretty good, traditional American diner. However, what really blew me away was that it was a family owned diner, and stuck to that. The portions were perfect, and the works out great if you’re starting early. All in all, I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a good breakfast.

Food was absolutely incredible! We had the Bison Burger and the Ribeye Steak and oh my goodness, fantastic! Finished it off with Huckleberry Icecream. Definitely recommend eating here. Way better than the overpriced steak we had at another place in town. The staff is awesome! Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Good service, even when crowded! Young guy was almost at a run but took time to talk and make you feel welcome!

Delicious home style food with a comfortable atmosphere and great service. The huckleberry soda /soft drink is a must try.

Love the food and the service and the charm!! Decor is rustic. It's a family run restaurant. Sons working tables, mom in the kitchen. Men could be dad and maybe uncle's. Very nice place.

Courtney gave us fast and friendly service, even while obviously busy with lots of customers, and the buffalo sirloin steak and the creamy chicken wild rice soup were delicious! Definitely recommend!

This restaurant/cafe has wonderful cabin like atmosphere, great food (bison burgers and biscuits/gravy, eggs and hash browns is what we ordered) and excellent service!! Brock was our waiter and he is amazing!!

Had to leave, could see cook with mask pulled down, talking over prepared food. Gross...I told waitress, doubt it will make any difference. Avoid!!

Good food, not good service.

Even though our server was waiting ALL the tables in the restaurant he still took the time to be friendly, answer questions in detail, and not make us feel rushed all while being serving our food in a timely manner. Wonderful people and delicious food.

This place gets packed...any time of day too. So that alone says to me that something good is going on. Word of mouth plus good food equals happy owners, I'm sure. We went for dinner but we had a big group and one of the big tables was being used by a couple. We didn't give up though. We came back for breakfast the next day and we're not disappointed. I had chicken fried steak, hash browns, gravy and pancake. I'm picky about my gravy being from the south and all. 🙂 Anyway, it was smooth, creamy and not too thick. I like a little more pepper and stuff in mine but it had good basic flavor and pepper and salt is easy enough to add yourself, right? 👍 Everything was excellent. We all enjoyed our meals and hope to go again soon.

Great food and inside setting is really cool. Soencer was our server and was excellent at every detail .We brought 3 kids and he was a real pro! I reccomend the breakfast biscuts n gravy! Every other place seemed to be closed for breakfast by 11.Thanks Old Town Cafe .Make sure to hit up the Zoltar Machine out front.

Went here a lot when I worked construction 25 years ago. So glad the food is still great and the service was better.

Had a very good very late lunch meal here after a long day at Yellowstone. Great buffalo burger and even better fries, and my hot beef sandwich was moist with homemade potatoes and gravy--could have used a bit more! They have a limited menu so no chicken fried steak, darn it! Prices were better than most places around here too. Was happy to see lots of cleaning and hand sanitizer and masks worn by staff, patrons set a bit apart, too.Came back again a few days later for breakfast (still no cfs, boo!) , had some really good apple cinnamon pancakes and tasty homemade sausage, also some good french toast & eggs! Side hash brown were meh. More concerning was it was pretty crowded, so tables were full 100%, but not too close, but our young male server wasn't wearing his mask over his nose and mouth. A star less for that, and we won't be back for that, too bad, because it was so good we would have come back again.

Good breakfast - hearty, tasty and reasonably priced. I had the biscuits and gravy which was excellent. My wife enjoyed the French toast topped with Flap Jack Drizzle, a fantastic buttermilk syrup creation from Utah. The place was busy (always a good sign), the service was good and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Make sure you come to this place to set down, relax and enjoy a good home cooked style meal after your long day in the park. They also serve breakfast, which we’ll try before we head out. Their pricing is better than the fast food place in town.Our waiter, Brock, was great. Good company and very helpful and great with the kiddos. They made chocolate milk for their dinner, which was an added bonus for them. We loved our Chicken Fried steak and mashed potatoes with salad. Clean environment, friendly atmosphere. Fun storefront with a fun little slot machine style casino to one side.

This family establishment is awesome. The whole family works and never stops. They are attentive, friendly, and have great food. They are one of the best breakfast places in town. Went several times during our stay. Super place.

I'm not one for leaving a review but this place deserves one. We loved it so much we came back for seconds. The food was fantastic and the service was just as good. I highly recommend the chili.

Staff was sooo helpful. Food was excellent. There was hand sanitize at the door before you came in. All the staff were wearing masks 😷. First time we have been at a restaurant. I felt very safe.

Very Rude Waitress. The absolute worst service I have ever seen. The waitress threw a fit when we politely asked to push two tables together to fit our group. She gave us 3 pitchers of water and no cups. So we left without ordering and we went to The Gusher down the road! 10/10 woukd recommend The Gusher excellent service and super yummy food!!

Basic food done very well, very friendly staff. Excellent apple cinnamon pancakes! Sweet but not too sweet.
